Genuine British army greatcoat as worn by the Royal Household Guards battalions. So the button emblems may be Grenadier Guards, Life Guards, Welsh Guards, Blues and Royals, Coldstream Guards or the Irish Guards. The Royal Fusiliers may be represented also.
These greatcoats have a large collar that can be turned up to protect the neck and face from bad weather, and the sleeves can be rolled down to protect the hands. They are beautifully tailored in grey 100% wool, other features include:
- Soft 100% Wool with a sateen inner lining.
- Single breasted with gold effect buttons, usually* with one of the Royal Household Guards regiment's emblem.
- Adjustable buttoned back belt.
- Full length.
- Shoulder epaulettes.
Available in good used (Grade 1). Signs of where rank badges and other fittings once were may be visible.
* Buttons may in some cases have been replaced, but will all match on the coat.
