Merino Wool Mens Long Sleeve Mid Layer Tops are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who want to wear natural thermal underwear with the performance of a synthetic garment.

These tops are not only produced from the worlds finest and softest Spanish merino wool, the yarn also has a Lycra core that provides a lot of stretch as well as allowing the garment to retain its shape after washing. To eliminate seams altogether, these tops are knitted using state of the art technology, resulting in a garment that is knitted entirely on a machine.  

The long body length of these merino tops in combination with the contoured back drop helps prevent lower back exposure during activities. If worn in combination with the merino leggings, then there is a good overlap around the lower back and kidneys for extra protection. The round neck has been designed so that it stretches when placed over your head and its low profile also means it is not prominent when worn under clothing. Thumb holes in the cuffs allow extra layers to be placed over the top without the sleeves riding up, and they also provide palm protection should you forget your gloves. The sleeves, upper and lower back, and the sides of the merino base layer top has a rib design for extra muscle support.
